FRP Pipes for Sewage Treatment Plant
FRP pipes (FRP pipes) are high-performance composite pipes made of resin as the matrix material and glass fiber as the reinforcement material through winding process. It has the characteristics of corrosion resistance, high strength, light weight, and long life. It is widely used in sewage treatment plants, municipal water supply, chemical industry and other fields, especially suitable for conveying corrosive media and high-pressure water flow.

Features & Advantages
Super corrosion Resistance
It can resist H₂S, CO₂, acid, alkali, salt and organic solvents, with a service life of more than 50 years, far exceeding traditional metal pipes.
Lightweight and Easy to Install
The circumferential compressive strength is ≥300MPa, and the weight is only 1/4 of that of steel pipes, which is easy to install.
Excellent hydraulic properties
The inner wall is smooth (roughness coefficient 0.008), the flow rate is 10%-20% higher than that of steel pipes, and the pumping energy consumption is reduced.
Anti-seepage and anti-leakage
The resin layer and the structural layer are integrated into one, without welds, eliminating the risk of leakage.
Environmental adaptability
UV resistant (anti-aging coating can be added), freeze-thaw resistant (-40℃~80℃), suitable for underground or open-air laying.
Customized Service
Supports customization of diameters from DN50 to DN3000mm, and provides a variety of connection methods such as flanges and sockets.

Production Process
Raw material selection
- Resin matrix: Use vinyl ester resin or isophthalic unsaturated polyester resin with excellent corrosion resistance, which is suitable for acids, alkalis, salts and organic matter in sewage.
- Reinforcement material: High-tension alkali-free glass fiber, providing axial and circumferential strength of the pipeline.
Molding process
- Winding molding: The fiber impregnated with resin is wound on the core mold in layers according to the designed angle through a computer-controlled winding machine, and demolded after curing.
- Centrifugal casting (optional): used for large-diameter pipes, with smooth inner wall and strong impermeability.
Curing and post-processing: 80-120℃ high temperature curing to improve mechanical properties, and carry out port cutting, flange installation and other processing.
Quality control: Strictly test interlayer bonding strength, Barcol hardness, water pressure permeability and other indicators, in line with GB/T 21238-2016 standards.

Application
Sewage Treatment Plant
In-plant process pipelines (water inlet pipes, sludge pipes, aeration pipes), tailwater discharge pipes.
