Excellent Corrosion Resistance

No rubber lining or coating is required, and it can directly withstand corrosive media such as wet flue gas, dilute sulfuric acid, chlorides, etc. in the FGD system.

The weight is only 1/4 of that of steel pipes, the strength is close to that of steel, and it is easy to install.

No pitting or intergranular corrosion will occur, the maintenance cost is extremely low, and the service life can reach more than 20 years.

The inner wall is smooth (roughness 0.008mm), reducing scaling and pressure drop, and improving desulfurization efficiency.

Low production energy consumption, no heavy metal pollution, in line with green environmental protection requirements.

Production Process

The FGD FRP pipes produced by our company adopt a winding molding process and combine vinyl ester resin or bisphenol A type unsaturated polyester resin as the base material to ensure excellent corrosion resistance.

Raw material selection

Resin: Use highly corrosion-resistant vinyl ester resin (such as Derakane 470, Hetron 992, etc.), suitable for strong acid and strong alkali environments.

Reinforcement material: Use alkali-free glass fiber (E-glass) or high-strength fiber (such as carbon fiber reinforcement layer) to improve mechanical properties.

Additives: Add anti-ultraviolet agents, flame retardants, etc. to improve environmental adaptability.

  1. Inner lining: Use a corrosion-resistant layer with a high resin content (2.5-3mm) to ensure that the medium is impermeable.
  2. Structural layer: Use cross-winding technology to optimize fiber arrangement and improve circumferential and axial strength.
  3. Outer protective layer: Add anti-aging coating to prevent ultraviolet rays, wind and rain erosion.

Use high-temperature curing technology to ensure that the resin is fully cross-linked, improve temperature resistance and mechanical properties.

The inner wall of the pipeline can be polished to reduce scale accumulation and improve fluid permeability.
