FRP/GRP H / I Type Beam

FRP grating (also known as FRP grating, composite grating) is a grid-like plate made of glass fiber as reinforcement material and unsaturated polyester resin as matrix through a special process. It is widely used in chemical, electric power, sewage treatment, shipbuilding, construction and other industries due to its excellent properties such as corrosion resistance, high strength, light weight, anti-slip and flame retardant.

Feature of FRP H/I Channel

  • Corrosion-resistant FRP structural parts: through vinyl resin + alkali-free glass fiber composite process, acid, alkali and salt spray corrosion resistance for more than 10 years
  • Lightweight and high-strength I-beam material: density is only 1/4 of steel, tensile strength ≥320MPa, suitable for bridge support system
  • Insulation flame-retardant profile products: oxygen index ≥28, insulation resistance value ≥10¹²Ω, meeting the safety standards of power facilities
  • Customized special-shaped cross-section design: support non-standard H200×200×10×15 and other special-sized I-beam processing
  • Maintenance-free and long-lasting service life: anti-ultraviolet aging performance meets GB/T16422.3 standard, outdoor use for 15 years without fading

  1. Fiber directional arrangement: 0°/90° bidirectional fiber cloth + multi-axial braided layer composite reinforcement
  2. Vacuum impregnation system: precise ratio of epoxy/unsaturated resin, glue content controlled at 58±2%
  3. High temperature curing molding: 160℃ gradient temperature control curing, ensuring the Bacol hardness ≥45
  4. CNC precision machining: equipped with five-axis cutting machine, tolerance control within ±0.5mm
  5. Non-destructive testing: ultrasonic flaw detection + mechanical properties test double quality inspection
  6. Surface treatment process: optional anti-slip pattern/flame retardant coating/antistatic treatment and other secondary processing

High Strength

The specific strength of FRP is higher than that of steel, and the hoop tensile strength can reach more than 300MPa.

Corrosion Resistance

It can resist corrosion from chemical media such as acids, alkalis, salts, and organic solvents, and its service life is more than 30 years.

Light Weight

The density is only 1/4 of that of steel pipes, which is convenient for transportation and installation.

Low Friction Coefficient

The inner wall is smooth (roughness coefficient 0.0084), the hydraulic performance is excellent, and the conveying efficiency is high.

Good thermal insulation

Low thermal conductivity (0.25W/m·K), reducing heat energy loss.

Anti-aging&Electrical insulation

Anti-ultraviolet agent is added, suitable for outdoor and harsh environments. Non-conductive, suitable for power, communication and other fields.
