FRP Profiles - Angle
FRP Angle Steel (FRP Angle Steel) is a high-performance composite material made by pultrusion molding process with glass fiber reinforced resin (such as unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester) as the base material. Compared with traditional metal angle steel, it has significant advantages such as corrosion resistance, lightweight, insulation, and anti-aging, and is widely used in harsh environments such as chemical industry, power, and marine engineering.
Feature and Advantage
- Strong corrosion resistance: can withstand acid, alkali, salt, organic solvents and other media, with a service life of more than 20 years (3-5 times that of metal pipes).
- Light weight and high strength: the density is only 1/4 of steel, and the tensile strength is ≥300MPa.
- Insulation and anti-static: the surface resistance can be customized to 10³~10⁸Ω to meet the requirements of explosion-proof environment.
- Low maintenance cost: no painting, no scaling, and the annual maintenance cost is reduced by more than 60%.

1. Conventional specifications
Edge width: 20mm×20mm to 150mm×150mm
Thickness: 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm (support non-standard customization)
Length: 6m/root (can be cut into sections)
2. Customized service
Color customization: provide standard colors such as gray, yellow, green, support RAL color card color selection.
Function enhancement: flame retardant (oxygen index ≥32) and antistatic layer (surface resistance ≤10⁶Ω) can be added.
Special-shaped processing: support secondary processing such as punching, grooving, chamfering, etc., and provide matching connectors.

High Strength
The specific strength of FRP is higher than that of steel, and the hoop tensile strength can reach more than 300MPa.
Corrosion Resistance
It can resist corrosion from chemical media such as acids, alkalis, salts, and organic solvents, and its service life is more than 30 years.
Light Weight
The density is only 1/4 of that of steel pipes, which is convenient for transportation and installation.
Low Friction Coefficient
The inner wall is smooth (roughness coefficient 0.0084), the hydraulic performance is excellent, and the conveying efficiency is high.
Good thermal insulation
Low thermal conductivity (0.25W/m·K), reducing heat energy loss.
Anti-aging&Electrical insulation
Anti-ultraviolet agent is added, suitable for outdoor and harsh environments. Non-conductive, suitable for power, communication and other fields.
