  • Environmental factors: When the concentration of corrosive media (acid, alkali, salt) is high, it is necessary to select a grille with a higher resin content (such as more than 70%) and increase the thickness to extend the life.
  • Safety requirements: For scenes that require anti-slip, a surface sanding or patterned plate design should be selected; flame-retardant resins should be used in flammable areas.
  • Economical efficiency: Avoid excessive thickness in light scenes, and reserve a safety margin for heavy scenes to avoid deformation or breakage due to insufficient load-bearing.

Production Process of FRP Grating

The production of FRP grating mainly adopts the following processes:

Molding: After mixing glass fiber and resin, put them into the mold for high temperature and high pressure curing and molding, which is suitable for standard specification gratings.

Pultrusion molding: Produce grating profiles through pultrusion process, and then assemble them into grating plates, which are suitable for high-strength demand scenarios.

Hand lay-up molding: Suitable for customized special-shaped gratings, which are cured and molded after manual laying.

Vacuum infusion: The resin evenly penetrates the fiber under vacuum environment to improve the density and strength of the product.

High Strength

The specific strength of FRP is higher than that of steel, and the hoop tensile strength can reach more than 300MPa.

Corrosion Resistance

It can resist corrosion from chemical media such as acids, alkalis, salts, and organic solvents, and its service life is more than 30 years.
