Transparent and translucent fiberglass grating has become an upgraded alternative to traditional materials due to its versatility, especially in scenarios that require a balance between light transmission, corrosion resistance and light weight.

Physical Characteristics
Lightweight and high strength: The density is only 1/4 of steel, but the strength is close to that of steel, easy to install and has excellent bearing capacity (different load levels can be customized).
Light transmittance: The light transmittance is about 30%-70%. By adjusting the resin type (such as polyester or epoxy) and the fiber arrangement, a translucent or matte effect can be achieved, combining lighting and privacy.
Corrosion resistance: It is resistant to acid, alkali, salt spray, and organic solvents. It is suitable for harsh environments such as chemical and marine environments, and has a service life of more than 20 years.
Functional characteristics
Anti-slip safety: The surface can be pressed with diamond patterns or quartz sand, and the friction coefficient is high in a slippery environment, reducing the risk of accidents.
Flame retardant insulation: Oxygen index ≥ 26 (flame retardant grade), non-self-igniting, non-conductive, suitable for flammable and explosive or power places.
Weather and anti-aging: Adding ultraviolet absorbers, it is not easy to yellow or embrittle for long-term outdoor use, and the performance is stable at -50℃~120℃.
Low maintenance cost: no need for painting, stain-resistant and easy to clean, reducing long-term maintenance costs.

- Architecture and landscape: Lighting structure: factory skylights, greenhouse ceilings, shopping mall translucent ceilings, natural light introduction reduces energy consumption.
- Outdoor facilities: seaside boardwalks, swimming pool fences, park trails, moisture-resistant and translucent and beautiful.
- Industrial field: Corrosive environment: chemical plant platforms, electroplating workshop floors, sewage treatment plant walkways, replacing rust-prone metals.

Selection Suggestions
- Transmittance selection: High transparency (70%) is suitable for pure lighting scenes, and translucent (40%-50%) takes into account privacy and soft light.
- Load requirements: Light (1-3 tons/㎡) is used for sidewalks, and heavy (5 tons/㎡ or more) is suitable for vehicle traffic areas.
- Surface treatment: Choose a smooth surface for areas that need frequent cleaning, and a sand surface is preferred for anti-slip in humid environments.
High Strength
The specific strength of FRP is higher than that of steel, and the hoop tensile strength can reach more than 300MPa.
Corrosion Resistance
It can resist corrosion from chemical media such as acids, alkalis, salts, and organic solvents, and its service life is more than 30 years.
Light Weight
The density is only 1/4 of that of steel pipes, which is convenient for transportation and installation.
Low Friction Coefficient
The inner wall is smooth (roughness coefficient 0.0084), the hydraulic performance is excellent, and the conveying efficiency is high.
Good thermal insulation
Low thermal conductivity (0.25W/m·K), reducing heat energy loss.
Anti-aging&Electrical insulation
